David is an independent film artist based in Seattle, Washington. In January 2009, his first feature film The Immaculate Conception of Little Dizzle debuted at Sundance. The film is a fantastic combination of humor, bizarre plot twists and startling practical effects.. A standing ovation at the premiere led to early distribution deals and the future cult classic continues to tour festivals and garner additional sales.

David's previous film I Am (Not) van Gogh won the "Juror's Choice Award" (top prize) at the Black Maria Festival, as well as Critics Jury Prize at Huesca Int'l and Grand Prix at 25fps in Zagreb. It toured the world with Resfest. He's been named one of Filmmaker Magazine's "New Faces of Independent Film," and was the recipient of The Stranger "Genius" Award. His films, Populi (2002), and Pan With Us (2003) premiered in back to back years in the Sundance shorts competition.Pan With Us was released theatrically in "The Animation Show (2005)," curated by Mike Judge and Don Hertzfeldt.

Spot work has so far included an anti copper wire theft campaign called HOPE for an electrical utlility, a campaign for Samsung phones through Leo Burnett and a promotion for Captain D's Restaurants through O2 Ideas. David was also commissioned to create animation for Radiohead singer Thom Yorke's solo recording Harrowdown Hill.
