Late in the previous century, Walter Santucci began his career when Cinemax featured his first animated film on a series hosted by Monty Python's Graham Chapman. Since then, he's been making award winning, critically acclaimed shorts, commercials, TV shows, movie titles and music videos that have entertained (and hopefully offended) people all over the world.

Past clients include Disney, McDonald's, ABC, Fox, Ogilvy & Mather, Chiat/Day, McCann/Ericsson, Noggin, Nickelodeon, Warner Brothers, Klasky Csupo, Marvel Entertainment, MGM/Mirage, Spike TV and Lionsgate Films. He has worked with and animated such celebrities as the B-52s, Ice Cube, Cameron Diaz, Ice T, Dave Foley, Adam West and Cedric the Entertainer.

The last few years have been especially productive for Walter. In 2009, one of his shorts played at the Annecy International Animation Film Festival and San Diego Comic Con, and his latest film “Pachelbel Kanon” was seen on PBS and Italian television. In 2010, “Kanon” was also broadcast on Australian, Nigerian and South African television, and is currently playing arthouse cinemas internationally. When Africa’s Best Channel, a new pan-African children’s network, launched in 2010, Walter was on board to direct and animate promotional pieces as well as provide short films for the network’s programming.

Walter is a professor of animation at Cal State LA and in 2009 published a book called The Guerrilla Guide to Animation (Continuum International Publishing Group). He is currently directing his first feature film, Sun Kyung and the Kronk.
